For those who don’t know me, I’m Dave Shore. I’ve been in the sports card business since 1978 and have a large inventory of baseball, football, basketball, and hockey cards. Before moving to my current home of Bend, Oregon, I owned a retail sports card shop in San Diego for 15 years, eventually selling it in 1997.
Now I run a mail order sports card business full time and enjoy helping collectors hunt down cards and complete their sets. As a collector myself, there were a few things that bothered me about mail order, so I decided to eliminate those when starting my own business. The main difference between me and the “other guys” is that, within reason, I send the cards on approval. That’s right, you get to see them before you buy them!
